David was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. After overcoming countless difficulties with the support of a loving family and well-trained mentors, he has thrived to become an inspiration in the neurodiversity world. In March 2021, David published his first book “The Empowerment of My Condition,” a book of poems reflecting his autism journey. His career path involves:

• Sharing his story on multiple online platforms
• Writing articles about disability inclusion in different communities
• Supporting neurodiverse adults in building fulfilling lives with AHRC
• Being on the National Disability Speakers Bureau: Jewish Division for RespectAbility
• Moderating roundtables on autism-related topics with the Global Autism Project

David’s greatest asset to conquering adversity is global citizenship. He has been to five of the seven continents, including educational experience in Ecuador, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy. His platform “Venturing Incredible Abilities,” entails his marvelous adventures as a global autism advocate and motivational speaker.

Education

David completed his general education at Village Glen West, a multi-disciplinary special needs school administered through the non-profit, The Help Group. He was valedictorian for the Class of 2015, and is the first student from VGW to go to a prestigious university out of state. Four years later, David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace and Justice Studies, Class of 2019. He is a proud and dedicated alum of Pace’s Challenge to Achievement Program & OASIS Program where he received comprehensive support for his undergraduate success.
